Sudan? Many people raised their eyebrows when we mentioned our travel destination. But what we experienced on our trip from Khartoum to Cairo was something very special: hospitality, unspoiled cultural sites (Sudan only), and very friendly people.

We were met in Khartoum by our driver Jamal, which took us on an incredible journey along the Nile, through the desert all the way up to Wadi Halfa (border town to Egypt at the lake Naser).Go to map section.

After saying good bye to Sudan we traveled to Aswan, continued to Luxor and Hurghada (few days in the sun) and concluded our trip in Cairo.
