New Swedish passports can only be applied and picked up from embassies. Closest from Muscat is Abu Dhabi. On my way to the Airport I passed the new Sheik Zayd Mosque. Impressive, but a bit too "baroque" for my taste.

The Nawras team took the challenge to cross the Wahiba desert with four cars (1 Jeep Wrangler and 3 Toyota Prado's). Participants included: Tore Solberg, Markus Golder, Peter Rubeck, Leif Olsgaard, Nasser Esfahani, Eric Kerboriou, Christian Hemmingsen and Morten Kristensen.
